These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the WayScale platform ("WayScale", "we"), operated by WayAcross, and of the PrestaShop modules distributed through it, by business customers ("Customer", "User"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or installing any WayScale module, the Customer accepts these terms in full.
1. Purpose
WayScale distributes conversion-optimisation modules for PrestaShop stores, managed through a central licensing system (the "Hub"). Each licence authorises use of the corresponding module on a single store domain, under the terms described here.
2. Licences
- Each licence is valid for a single domain and is not transferable without prior written authorisation from WayScale.
- The licence includes updates and support for the contracted period, shown at the time of purchase.
- Once the update window ends, the module keeps working on the version installed, but no longer receives new releases, fixes, or support, until renewed.
3. Pricing and Payment
Displayed prices include VAT at the applicable legal rate, unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through our partners Stripe (card) and IfthenPay (Multibanco and MB WAY). WayScale does not record or store credit card data.
4. Right of Withdrawal
Under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the right of withdrawal applicable to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium is deemed waived from the moment the licence is issued and the module made available for download, with the Customer expressly consenting to that at checkout.
5. Intellectual Property
The source code, the WayScale brand, and all associated materials are the property of WayAcross. The licence grants a right of use, not a transfer of ownership. Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the modules without written authorisation is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
WayScale does not guarantee that the modules are free of errors or that they will produce any specific conversion results. The liability of WayAcross, under any circumstance, is limited to the amount actually paid for the licence in question over the preceding 12 months.
7. Suspension and Termination
WayScale reserves the right to suspend or revoke a licence in the event of a breach of these terms, including fraudulent use, sharing a licence key across unauthorised domains, or non-payment.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated periodically. The version in force is always the one published on this page, together with its last-updated date.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from this agreement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

Google Merchant Center connection
The WayScale Prices and Competition module can show, in the store's back office, how the store's prices compare with the market, using the store's own Google Merchant Center data. The Customer connects their Google Merchant Center account with the "Connect with Merchant Center" button and Google's sign-in, and can disconnect at any time from the same tab or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- WayScale only reads the account's product, price and visibility reports. It never changes products, prices or settings in Google Merchant Center.
- The data is used only to show this comparison to the Customer, as described in the Privacy Policy, and in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- The figures come from Google (benchmark prices, suggested prices, predicted effects). WayScale shows them as Google provides them and does not guarantee their accuracy or any result from price changes.
- The Customer must be authorised to grant access to the Merchant Center account they connect.
How WayScale handles personal data, including Google user data, is described in the Privacy Policy.
